Ok...here is a link for where I got the earnings, necklace and rings from back in 2010.
It is run by a woman who resides in Southern Japan and goes by the name Rika through "LOVE GHIBLI". Go to: [link]
Instructions: 1.Go to this website (link to website above).
2.Go to the "Howl's Moving Castle" link.
3.Scroll through the list. The two expensive rings are close to the beginning (which contain more expensive quality materials). Those two rings are $360 (The Red Ring) and $370 (The Blue Ring) respectively.
4. Continue scrolling and you'll find that there are four synthetic cheaper versions as you go along through the list. These are all in the $150 price range.
These are all authentic Studio Ghibli merchandise...so it would be a nice addition to your costume. Only problem is...because they are authentic...the jewels range from $150 to $400 in range. I purchased everything I could get my hands on and it cost me $1410.00 for everything. It was worth it though cuz I've won awards at various conventions for authenticity. I try to help other Howl & Sophie cosplayers if I can.
I took a look and didn't see the necklace and/or earrings on the website anymore. Ugh! You could always try Ebay. I've seen the necklace and earrings there before (authentic and homemade versions). Hope this helps ya if ya got the cash. That is one thing I no longer got...LOL!
Sounds cool! I've never tried a goatee before. I've grown my facial hair out too...mainly cuz I'm to lazy to shave it all the time.
My beard is kinda weird. It is brown (like my hair color) except for the chin area. It is red there (all the men on my mom's side of the family have it). Then it is blond on the jawline. My dad was a blond...so I figure that is where the blond comes from. I figure the red is from the Irish side...dunno though.
Really? I submitted the photo to the Youmacon DeviantArt page...so I suppose that attachment brought it up. Glad ya found your picture.
Yup I'm glad I found it too. Also I dunno how to link myself in it though xD And yeah when I was 15 I could grow a full on beard and nobody knew it until now mostly because I always shaved until I just got really really lazy haha.
Hmmm...I never thought about that. I know like on Facebook or MySpace you could link yourself to a photo...but I never thought about that with art and photos here on deviantArt.
Really? Well age fifteen is just slightly young for most to grow a beard...but I don't doubt it for you. The only thing I could grow around that time (that was in 2004/2005)was a mustache and goatee. The sideburns and jawline facial hair came later to fill in what would later be called a beard. Only problem back then was it was mostly blond hair...so it wasn't noticeable till a few years shaving where the darker hair came in.
LOL! Yeah...I hear ya there. The lazy factor always comes around sooner or later.
